Calgary Boudoir Photographer - Everybody is a bikini Body!

This beautiful transition has been occurring for sometime, the transition of embracing our bodies as they are. As Calgary's Boudoir Photographer it is apart of the "job". Embracing women exactly as they are to feel empowered, beautiful and sexy, whatever their reason is. Whether its because they are a busy mom who has given every piece of her to her family or a corporate baddie who is constantly answering to everyone and never takes time for herself - or maybe she's just a freaking badass babe who needs to just celebrate how awesome she is!

This was anything but a traditional boudoir session for our Calgary Boudoir Photography studio, but it was soul fueling and liberating.

9 strangers meeting in Fish Creek Park, with their full trust in me, Ember + Coal Studios - Calgary's Boudoir Photographer, to ensure they felt comfortable, and liberated to embrace what was for some of them the most vulnerable they've ever been outside of the four walls of their own home.

There is something profound to me about being trusted to hold space for women, and to hold their confidence. It is not something I take lightly.

This session in Calgary's Fish Creek Park was a reminder that beauty knows no shape, size or age. Each of these women brought their own unique energy to this Calgary boudoir inspired session, and the results were pure magic!

For many boudoir is an intimate experience, but when you share it with other women, it transforms into something empowering. it's about lifting each other up seeing yourself through the eyes of others, and creating a sisterhood of sorts.
